双语家长信

Dear Parents,
亲爱的家长您好

I hope all of you had a wonderful long weekend to celebrate New Year’s Day! I can’t believe that the year is going by so quickly.
希望大家都渡过了一个很棒的新年长假。我真的不敢相信这一年渡过这么快。

This week we continued with our topic with more information on animals. The study of the animals and many of the new vocabulary they are learning can be applied to many other topics. The importance of this is that the students learn how to use their new vocabulary in other ways.
我们这周还是继续复习有关动物的知识。他们学到的有关动物的知识和单词，可以用到许多不同的话题中来。最重要的是孩子们学习如何在不同的地方用到这些单词。
For phonics we have been working on the letter Dd. We have been practicing writing both the capital D and the small d. We also made My Dd Book’s on page 32 of their Phonics Street Skills Practice Book. Some of the new words that they have learned that are associated with the letter Dd are deer, desk, dinosaur, dime, dog, doll, dolphin, donkey, door, and duck. As our Dd activity we learned the chant:
自然拼音部分我们学习了字母D的大小写字母，我们完成了“Phonics Street Skills Practice Book.”第32页 “关于D的书”。单词包括： 鹿，桌子，恐龙，10美分，狗，娃娃，海豚，驴，门，鸭子。我们还学习相关的儿歌：
Do ducks like to swim?
Do dogs like to dig?
Do deer like to run?
Do dolphins like to dive?
Yes, they do. Do you?
